“Wicked” Creatures


Fringe Rider

·         Old appearance; skin weathered and bronzed; lips drawn; bony skeletal hands; tattered black slacks and an old brown jacket with patches; thinning grey hair and shabby brown golf hat
·         Black holes for eyes; no ears; mouth sewn shut
·         Fringe Riders are neutral entities, neither good nor evil. Their purpose is to protect the balance. They are referred to as “Fringe” Riders because they quite literally ride the fringe of life and death.
Dawdlers

·         Stand only four inches tall
·         Skin is an odd shade of green; Wear leaf togas
·         Each Dawdler possesses green hair, liquid gold eyes, and a tiny set of wings that look like leaves.
·         These creatures change color to match their current mood: Purple is irritated. Orange is curious. Red is embarrassed, Blue is sad, Gold is happy, Green is normal, and White means they are dead.
·         Sworn enemies with Fairies and Pixies

Emich

  • Stand only about a foot tall with leathery skin and beady eyes.
  • Speak an odd language that no one can understand
  • Generally unfriendly creatures and tend to lean toward the Dark Ways

Death Walkers

·         Tall creature of about seven feet in size; dresses in a black cloak with a large hood shadowing its face and hiding it from sight completely. The only things visible from underneath the cloak are white, bony, skeletal hands and equally grotesque feet.
·         Looks like the typically described “Grim Reaper; the stories of death walkers have been around for quite some time and actually led to the creation of the so called “Grim Reaper” for wherever these creatures walk death follows quickly in their wake.
·         Can see nothing within the hood of the robe, only an utter and complete darkness. Causes victims lungs to tighten constricting airflow and will bring on unconsciousness; Hiss when they speak

Dark Ones

  • Dark Magick
  • Black shadows of men
  • Can possess and control people of magick blood



Fairies

·         Minute little creatures; Smaller then dawdlers and pixies both, at only two tiny inches in size.
·         Possess tiny little wings that flutter as quickly as a humming bird’s. These creatures look like miniature ehlves, aside from their aquamarine eyes.
·         Extraordinary gardeners and are normally welcome in a witch’s garden, so long as their numbers don’t get out of control.
·         Don’t speak any language a person could understand and due to their tiny size their voices sound like a high pitched ringing in one’s ears
·         They reside on both the magickal planes and human planes.
·         Generally unfriendly and speak in rhymes

Pixies

·         Stand about four inches tall; tan skin and black hair. Look like tiny Native Americans.
·         No wings
·         Enemies with Dawdlers and Fairies
·         Very loyal, and proud creatures

Petal Puffs

  • These creatures look like baby hedgehogs but are pink and cashmere soft
  • Peculiar looking things that are perfectly round with light pink fur tapering off into a hot pink color on the tips.
  • Their main food source is chocolate. They get their energy from the sugar and nutrients from the cocoa
  • Can project needs or wants and become very attached to their master
  • Very rare and supposedly extinct
  • Referred to as petal puffs because there are no females in the species and it is said they are a gift from the goddess that spring from the petals of flowers.

Squyd

·         Aquatic; about three inches long and neon green.
·         Tiny webbed hands and feet and a face like a frog; hot pink eyes, and sharp little pointed teeth.
·         Swim in schools like fish
·         Humanistic mannerisms such as waving and smiling

Yalcini

·         Pale white with thin skin allowing one to see each blue vein tracing underneath it.  
·         Large cat-like eyes, yellow with a vertical slit for a pupil.
·         Have a thin line for a mouth, with no pigmentation or lips.
·         Dagger sharp teeth jut out at odd directions
·         Possesses no ears and cannot hear.
·         Original version of the modern day Vampire
·         A Yalcini scratch will turn black and will hurt for the rest of one’s life
·         Yalcini saliva or a bite will turn a person into a Vamp. These are the creators and only creatures that can turn humans into vampires; other vamps cannot


Eldenor

  • Bony bald head; long skinny arms; their hands look large next to skeletal arms. Their elbows are knobby, as are their knees.
  • Eldenor blend well and their skin resembles the bark of trees.
  • They possess large pumpkin orange eyes and large pointed ears. They sport no eyebrows or eyelashes and purr like a cat.
  • Very territorial and protective, generally friendly, but will rip you apart on a whim

Fey

·         Ehlven people; good and bad; a general term

Tree Jumpers

·         Maybe two feet in size; course black hair that hardly covers their skin. Each hair is an inch or so apart from the others.
·         They have a large head and three long fingers on each hand. Their Feet too, have three long wrinkly toes extending from each foot.
·         Generally harmless

Gargoyles

  • Large stone creatures that generally guard entrances or buildings
  • Have an odd sense of humor and are pranksters
  • These creatures are like security guards and metal (magick) detectors
